Dog Goes to Closed Store Daily then Leaves, One Evening Poor Boy Notices and Follows It — Story of the Day
Eighteen-year-old Chris was employed at a warehouse when he noticed a well-groomed Shiba Inu named Ollie making daily visits to a closed bike shop. Intrigued by this behavior, Chris decided to follow Ollie one day and uncovered a poignant reality: the dog was delivering food to a German Shepherd named Max, who was trapped in an abandoned house. Ollie, having been abandoned by his previous owner, had been providing daily nourishment to Max, sustaining him with the food that Chris had previously shared with Ollie.
Moved by Ollie’s unwavering commitment, Chris resolved to bring the dog home, even though his girlfriend Mila held a strong aversion to pets. Initially, Mila was unwilling to accept Ollie, but ultimately she consented, albeit with reluctance. One morning, however, Ollie vanished, leading Chris to find him at the abandoned house with Max. Authorities later disclosed that the bike shop owner had passed away, leaving the dogs behind. In light of this, Chris decided to adopt both dogs and bring them into his home, fully aware that this decision might upset Mila once again.
As Chris recounted the events to Mila, Ollie reached out gently with his paw, which touched her heart. Over time, she gradually accepted the notion of having both dogs in their household. A few weeks later, Chris and Mila joyfully welcomed Max back from the veterinary hospital, forming a content family of four.
