The Palisades Fire, which began on January 7, 2025, in Pacific Palisades, has already burned over 1,260 acres and remains uncontrolled, with winds reaching speeds of 60 mph exacerbating the situation. This fire poses a serious threat to surrounding communities, prompting Governor Gavin Newsom to declare a state of emergency.
