Spoiled daughter refuses to help her….

A single mother of two shares her experience regarding her daughter, who has been reluctant to help with household responsibilities. After her divorce, she and her ex-husband maintained a cordial relationship, agreeing to focus on their children’s welfare without letting their previous issues interfere with their parenting. The mother conveyed that she encountered difficulties both financially and in raising her children. While her ex-husband offered some financial assistance, it was not enough to meet their needs. Furthermore, her 15-year-old daughter displayed a lack of willingness to participate in household chores or look after her younger brother. Frustrated by her daughter’s lack of responsibility, the mother felt it necessary to discuss the situation with her, stressing that being part of a family requires sharing responsibilities, especially during challenging times. She also informed her daughter that if she was not willing to help out at home, she would need to start contributing financially by paying rent.
