Tom Selleck Admits To “Messed Up” Health Issues After Over 50 Years of Doing His Film Stunts

Tom Selleck, a prominent figure in Hollywood, has enjoyed a lengthy and prosperous career in the entertainment sector, overcoming numerous obstacles to attain recognition in an industry where success is often elusive. Since 2010, Tom Selleck has taken on the role of Frank Reagan, the commissioner of the New York City Police Department, in the television series “Blue Bloods,” which has been renewed for its thirteenth season. His commitment to performing many of his own stunts has adversely affected his physical well-being. Selleck acknowledged, “My back’s kind of messed up,” highlighting the physical demands of stunt work and the absence of adequate warm-up and stretching routines on set.

Outside of his acting endeavors, Selleck finds peace and maintains his physical fitness on his farm located in Ventura, California. His enthusiasm for horses, a shared interest with his daughter, plays a vital role in his life.
