Jennifer Garner actions towards wheelchair-bound homeless man

Jennifer Garner continues to endear herself to fans worldwide with a remarkable act of kindness that is sure to touch even the most hardened hearts. Recently, the 51-year-old actress was at a parking lot in Santa Monica Beach, California, when she encountered a homeless man in a wheelchair.

While it is easy to imagine that many A-list celebrities would have simply entered their vehicles and driven away, Jennifer Garner exemplifies a different approach.

Just last week, Garner made headlines for surprising her father with a ride in his childhood car to celebrate his 85th birthday. Now, she is once again in the spotlight, this time for an act that highlights her selflessness and compassion.

Reports indicate that while at the Santa Monica Beach parking lot earlier this week, Garner noticed a homeless man in clear need of assistance. She rolled down her car window to engage with the man and not only provided him with a bag of essential items but also recognized that he was without shoes.

Upon recognizing the situation, Garner exited her vehicle, knelt beside the man, and began to place socks on his feet.

Not satisfied with just that, the star of 13 Going on 30 removed her own shoes in an effort to offer them to the man as well.

It quickly became clear that the shoes were not a suitable fit; however, Garner, undeterred, approached a nearby paparazzo who had been following her and inquired if he could assist.

“What size do you wear?” she asked, according to Page Six. “Can I purchase your shoes for him? He is in need of footwear.”

The photographer then asked for the size required, and Garner informed him that the homeless man needed a size “10 and a half.”

“Oh, I’m an 11! Would you like me to give them to him? I can do that,” the paparazzo replied. Notably, the photographer declined any payment from Garner and willingly offered his shoes.

Garner’s kindness is likely not surprising to those familiar with her life and career. The actress has consistently advocated for those in need, having collaborated with Save the Children for over ten years.

“Although I did not experience poverty firsthand, I was surrounded by it, and I always said I was just a generation and a holler away from rural poverty,” she once shared with Southern Living.

“I sought out opportunities and ultimately connected with Save the Children, as they are undoubtedly leaders in supporting children in rural America.”
