Kurt Vogel Russell is a distinguished American actor who embarked on his acting journey at the age of twelve, making his debut in a western television series. His role in Mike Nichols’ film “Silkwood” earned him a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1983. Russell hails from Springfield, Massachusetts.

His father, Bing, was also involved in the arts, while his mother, Louise Julia Russell, was a professional ballerina. Recent reports from The Globe have revealed that Kurt Russell is currently battling a severe flesh-eating disease. The 65-year-old actor, recognized for his performance in “Hateful Eight,” is reported to have developed unsightly ulcers beneath his lower lip, which are linked to Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome (PJS), a condition that heightens the risk of colon cancer. It has been observed that individuals with PJS may face a lifetime cancer risk of as much as 93%.

Dr. Stuart Fischer, who does not treat Kurt, described the ulcers as “precancerous lesions that can become aggressive and dangerous if not addressed promptly and appropriately.”

Kurt Russell’s name is already inscribed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; however, he is unable to attend the ceremony due to an unexpected medical issue. The actor stated that he requires surgery, which his physician has deemed essential and cannot be postponed.
