True heroes are often described as individuals who do not don capes; rather, they are seemingly ordinary people who engage in acts of kindness without any expectation of reward. Such a hero could be anyone: a neighbor, a supervisor, a cashier, or even yourself.
Story 1: Several years ago, my husband awakened me early one morning inquiring about the location of my passport. I responded, “In my bag!” He then humorously asked, “Where’s your bag?” It became evident that I had inadvertently left it at a construction hypermarket the previous day while I was browsing various items.
On another occasion, I found myself trapped in an underground parking garage when my car alarm suddenly activated.
